Community Catalyst Award goes to…..Lower Mainland Purpose Society!
Every year, the New Westminster Chamber of Commerce sponsors a Platinum Awards night. There are numerous awards given out that include: Business of the Year, Citizen of the Year, Climate Readiness Award, Entrepreneurial Spirit Award, Not-for-Profit of the Year among others.
The Lower Mainland Purpose Society was nominated for the Community Catalyst Award and was declared the winner last night. The Community Catalyst Award is presented to a business or organization that has significantly contributed to the well-being of vulnerable populations in New Westminster. This award was initiated by the New Westminster Homelessness Coalition and aims to recognize those who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to engagement, community involvement, and social responsibility.
