Parenting children under six years of age requires ongoing emotional investment and energy.  The learning curve between birth to six years is extensive as children grow from infancy, requiring maximum parental involvement and support, through toddler and pre-school stages to becoming independent, curious, energetic, demanding, often non-compliant and self-aware through socialization, early learning and routines. During these years, children grow and change rapidly.  They move through developmental stages at a significant pace which many parents find both stimulating and exhausting. Purpose Society’s Parenting Groups are developed with the whole family in mind.  Parents and extended family members are invited to attend the groups with their children under six years to learn about developmental milestones, socialization, play, creativity, early learning, health and wellness, discipline, behavioural issues and strategic interventions.
